AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING LOTS 3, 4, NORTH 2. 5 FEET OF LOT 19, LOT
20 AND SOUTH 57 FEET OF LOT 21, SUBAN'S SUBDIVISION;
LOT 13, TERRA ALTO ESTATES; LOT 49, CLEARWATER
MANOR; AND LOT 24, CITRUS HEIGHTS MANOR FIRST
ADDITION, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, INTO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF
THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITIONS ACCORDING TO
THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA;
AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING
THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS
FOR SAID PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE
OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Allen McLatchy and Grace C. McLatchy, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described
hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April 15, 1976, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare.an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Leila L. McLaughlin, a widow, requesting'
the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned
by her, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from John W. Redmond, a widower, requesting
the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned
by him, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and

also received a sworn petition from Fred T. Menges and Evelyn M. Menges,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described
hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Daniel L. Webb and Frederique S. Webb,
his wife, requesting to City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described
hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on May 6, 1976, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, on June 24, 1976, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for laid real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
,, public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chapter 171. 044,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to
include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas County,
Florida, and establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lots 3, 4, North 2. 5 feet of Lot 19, Lot 20, and South
57 feet of Lot 21, Suban's Subdivision, according to the
map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 40, page
32, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
The above described property is hereby zoned "RS-60"
(Single Family Residential District) and designated Fire
District No. Z.
AND
Lot 13 of Terra Alto Estates, according to the map
or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 45, page 5
of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
The above described property is hereby zoned "RS..50"
(Single Family Residential District) and designated Fire
District No. 2.
AND
Lot 49 of Clearwater Manor, according to the map
or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 41, page 66
of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
The above described property is hereby zoned "RS-60"
(Single Family Residential District) and designated Fire
District No. 2.
AND
Lot 24, Citrus Heights Manor First Addition, according
to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 47,
page 29 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
The above described property is hereby zoned "RS-60"
(Single Family Residential District) and designated Fire
District No. 2.
Section Z. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.

Section 3, The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning atlas and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance and notice of the proposed enactment of
same has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 171. 044,
Florida Statutes.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage'and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and
a copy thereof being filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Pinellas County, Florida. In accordance with Chapter 171. 091 and Chapter
171. 044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall be filed with the Department
of State of the State of Florida.

Section 1, After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper .
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Conunission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chapter 171. 044,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits•of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to
include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas County
Florida, and establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:

57 feet of Lot 21, Suban's Subdivision, according to the
map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 40, page
32, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
