THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City
of Clearwater, Florida, a Municipal corporation, party of the first
part, hereinafter referred to as "Cityn, and The Mandalay Point
Associ~ion, an un-incorporated association, by T. R. Palmer, presi-
dent, party of the second part, hereinafter referred to as t1Association".
WITNESSETH:
ViliEREAS Mandalay Point Association is an uU-incorporated asso-
ciation of persons owning property on the northern end of Clearwater
Beach, Clearwater, Florida, and
V~1EREAS said property owners desire police protection additional
to that normally furnished by the City of Clearwate r, and are willing
to make contributions as hereinafter set out to said City for said
purp os e, and
WHEREAS said City is willing to give said area, to be more spe-
cifically designated by said association, additional police protec-
tion, as hereinafter set out.
NOW THEREFOHE in consideration of the premises, and the faith-
ful performance by each of the partie s hereto of the covenants and
agreements by it hereinafter made, the parties hereto mutually agree
as follows:
1. This agreement is effective retroactive to December 15,19~9,
and action heretofore taken hereunder is hereby ratified and confirmed
by each of the parties hereto.
2. City agrees to furnish a uniformed policeman between the
hours of 10:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. each day except Monday in the area
of the northern end of Clearwater Beach, to be more svecifically desig-
nated by Association; this policeman is to be permanently stationed
in said area during said hcurs, and is to be in addition to the normal
police protection given therein.
3. In consideration of said additional police protection,
Association agrees to contribute to City the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00) per month for the first twelve (12) months of the continuance

of this agreement, and the sum of Two Hundred Ten Dollars ($210.00)
per month thereafter. Association agrees to make said contributions
in advance for a six-months period, and City hereby acknowledges re-
ceipt of the sum of One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00)
heretofore paid by Association for the first six months of said term.
4. It is agreed that either party can discontinue this agree-
ment on 60-days written notice to the other party. On discontinuance
any prepaid contributions shall be refunded.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have caused their respective
hands and seals to be hereunto affixed, and these presents to be signed
in person or by their duly authorized of~icers, this3~~ay of
