AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 16 EAST, PINE LLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER
WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE
-LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO
s INCLUDE SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER
st PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTAB-
LISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND
THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Dynamic Investments, Inc. requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by
it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April 16, 1973, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on June 18, 1973 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1, After its evaluation of all evidence presented at proper
' public hearings, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,

and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcel of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
North 155.91 feet of the East 350 feet of the North 1/2 of the
South 1/2 of the Northeast 114 of the Southeast 1/4, less
road right-of-way; all of the above being and lying in Section
19, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, '
Florida;
Sometimes described as:
A tract lying in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 19, Township 29
South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida, said tract
being described as follows:
From the Northeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 19,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, run North 89.28157" West
along the North boundary of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast
1/4 of said Section 19 a distance of 100. 00 feet; run thence
South 01° 2615111 West along the West right-of-way line of U. S.
Highway 19 a distance of 671.39 feet to a Point of Beginning;
from said Point of Beginning run thence North 89° 26119" West
a distance of 249. 89 feet; run thence South 01' 31116" West a
distance of 155. 91 feet; run thence South 89° 27115" East a
distance of 250. 08 feet to the West right-of-way line of U. S.
Highway 19; run thence along said West right-of -way line
North 01° 26151" East a distance of 155. 91 feet to the Point
of Beginning.
The above-described property is hereby zoned 'ICG'I (General
Business District) and designated Fire District No. 1.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
right-of-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning atlas and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.

its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
