ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Tellfair, Inc. requesting the City to annex a
certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by it, into the
corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular mecting Feld on January 2, 1973, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn'pet.ition from Simmons-Eagle joint Vunture requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by
it, into the corporate Iimits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting hold on January 15, 1973, voted
unanin-tously to accept said I 'ducat and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the dctorinination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classificationo and to prepare an ordhiance to annex said
parcel of real estate into the corporate: limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provi.gions of Section G (d) of the•Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on February 19, 1973 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property, which hearing was continued until March 19, 1973, and there-
upon completed; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Alvin J. Novak and Willie J. Novak, his wife,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described herein-
after, owned by them, into the corporate 1.ilnits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, also
received a sworn petition from Edward A. Johnson and Esther A. Johnson,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described
hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
