WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from John P. Confer, Jr. and Linda Sue Confer,
his wife, and Elizabeth A. Tourot, requesting the City to annex a certain
parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by them into the cor..
porate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
N request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April 17, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
k?paTcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the

' WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on June 5, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and .
WHEREAS, on July 24, 1972, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA;
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at proper
public hearings, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and estab-
lishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
