WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida
received a sworn petition from H. C. Humm, Trustee, requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by
him, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida
received a sworn petition from Fred Koch, requesting the City to annex
a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by him, into
the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida
received a sworn petition from Carolyn Bomberger requesting the City to
annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by her,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS the City Commission after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on May 8, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on July 10, 197Z, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida
received a sworn petition from Merrett R. Stierheim, City Manager, of
the City of Clearwater, Florida, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel
of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it, into the corporate limits

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at proper
public hearings, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
