WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April 17, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment
of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to
annex said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the
Municipal Charter of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on May 15, 1972, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property which public hearing was continued until June Z6, 1972,
and thereupon completed; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida received
a sworn petition from Hanlon Davies and Lillian Davies, his wife requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by
them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and '
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida also
received a sworn petition from William G. Blackburn requesting the City to
annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by them,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida also
received a sworn petition from Dorian Homes, Inc. requesting the City to
annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by them,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said requests
for annexation, at a regular meeting held on May 15, 1972, voted unanimously
to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to set up a public
hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning and fire
district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels of
real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance

WHEREAS, on June 26, 1972, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the determination
and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said real

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following

Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
rights of way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon 'he official zoning map and
other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing

Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Louis L. Stone and Vivian L. Stone, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
Municipal Charter of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and

WHEREAS, on May 15, 1972, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications

unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to

Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
rights of way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon '.he official zoning map and
other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

Whereas, City of Clearwater Ordinance No. 1393, annexing
and zoning certain properties, was recorded in the public
records of Pinellas County on July 13, 1972 in O.R. 38329
Pages 327-332 inclusive, and

Whereas, it has been determined that on Page 5 as recorded
a scrivener's or typographical error occurred relating to
zoning.
Now, therefore, to correct said error, there is now recorded
a corrected Page 5 of said Ordinance No. 1393 to properly
set forth the legal classification of zoning as shown thereon,
Corrected Page 5 supersedes and replaces the original Page
5.
