AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 6,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, LOT 6,
BLOCK 19, THIRD ADDITION TO HIGHLAND PINES
SUBDIVISION ; LOT 10, BLOCK D AND LOT 1, BLOCK
F, OAK LAKE ESTATES SUBDIVISION; LOTS 10 AND
11, CANTERBURY HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION; AND LOT 3,
BLOCK Be OAK ACRES ADDITION, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS
AND ALL ABUTTING EASEMENTS FOR RIGHTS OF WAY,
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMIT'S OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID
ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC
NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISH-
ING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND
THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PRO-
PERTY; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from F]aquad, Inc. requesting the City to annex a
certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it, into the
corporate limits • of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
request' for annexation, at a regular meeting held on March 15, 1971,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper offi-
cials to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establish-
ment of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance
to annex said parcel- of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (dj of the Municipal
Charter of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1971, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Thelma E. Hayman (Single Woman),
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter des-
cribed, owned by her, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Mark E. Shanaberger and Sarah B.
Shanaberger, his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of
real estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Helen M. Neal, (a Widow), requesting -
the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described,
owned by her, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Charles OlNeil and Rosernary O'Neil,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Patrick Fay and Anna F. Murphy, (a
widow}, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said

parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on May 3, 1971, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for
said real properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section
6 (d), of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of
Florida, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the
following described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida,
and to establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
The Southwest corner of the Northeast 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 6, Township 29 South, Range 16
East, run thence S 89 5611111 E along the 40 acre line,
42.32 feet to the centerline of Coachman Road pavement
for the P. O. B. ; thence continue S 89° 5611111 E along the
40 acre line, also the North line of Coachman Lake Estates
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 62, pages 26 thru 29, '
inclusive, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
592.25 feet to the Southwest corner of College Hill Park as
recorded in Plat Book 66, page 14 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, thence N 0° 12127" E along the
West line of said College Hill Park, 728. 0 feet; thence N
89° 56111" W, 592.25 feet to the centerline of said Coachman
Road pavement; thence S 0° 1212711W, along the centerline of
said Coachman Road, 728. 0 feet to the P. O. B. , together
with all abutting right of way and right of way easements.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-1C"
(Single Family). and designated as Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lot 6, Block 19, 3rd addition to Highland Pines Subdi-
vision as recorded in Plat Book 32, Page 71, of Public
Records, Pinellas County, State of Florida, together
with,all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-1D 11
(Siugle•Family) and designated as Fire District No. 2'0

Section 2_ The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have here-
tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the area so annexed.
Section 3_ The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Flaquad, Inc. requesting the City to annex a
certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it, into the
corporate limits of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on March 15, 1971,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper offi-
cials to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establish-
ment of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance
to annex said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (da of the Municipal
Charter of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1971, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property; and

• Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section
6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of
Florida, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the
following described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida,
and to establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
The Southwest corner of the Northeast 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 6. Township 29 South, Range 16
East, run thence S 89 5611111 E along the 40 acre line,
42.32 feet to the centerline of Coachman Road pavement
for the P. O. B. ; thence continue S 89*a5611111 E along the
40 acre line, also the North line of Coachman Lake Estates
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 62, pages 26 thru 29,
inclusive, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
