VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from the City of Clearwater, Florida, requesting Y

the City to annex certain parcels of real estate hereinafter described, owned
by the City, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 3, 1969, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provisions of Section b (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater, Florida, and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on November 24, 1969, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications 15: hi-41MA;iRaWE :,',A
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1, After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
• and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following

described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor;
The West 110. 0 feet of the East 115. 0 feet of the -
South 137.5 feet of Lot 2.38 of Highland Lake Sub-
division, Fourth Addition, as recorded in Plat Book
30, page 97, of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R'-ICO'
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. Z.
AND
Lot 238 of Highland Lake Subdivision, Fourth Addition,
as recorded in Plat Book 30, page 97, of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida, less and except
the West 110 feet of the East 115 feet of the South 137. 5
feet and less the East 5 feet, together with all abutting
streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "P11
(Public) and designated as Fire District No. 2.
Section Z. The City Commission hereby formally and according to law
accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places, rights
of way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been made by
plat, deed or user within the area so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and
other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property
and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
