WHEREAS, on April 14, 1969, the City Commission of the City of ,
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain
proposed changes to the zoning ordinance and zoning map of the City of
Clearwater in accordance with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain items were continued until May 5, 1969,
at which time the City Commission of the City of Clearwater continued
this public hearing on the proposed changes to the zoning ordinance and
zoning map of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to the
zoning ordinance and the zoning map were approved by the City Commission
after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public hearings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 2, Sub-section (1) of Section 26-1I Location, Height and Area Ragulations--Setbacks, LotSixe, Height, Area, of Code of Ordinances,
Clay of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby amended to read as follows:
(1) No building or structure overhang shall be permitted to
exceed 2 feet beyond the required setback line in Residential
Zoned Districts having required building setbacks of 5 feet
or less; or 3 feet beyond the required setback line in
Residential Zoned Districts having required building setbacks
up to and including 10 feet; or 5 feet beyond the required
setback line in Residential Zoned Districts having required
building setbacks of more than 10 feet.
Section 3. Sub-paragraph (c) (6), Total Tract Requirements of
Sub-section (3), General Requirements, of Section 26-IID, Travel Parks,
of the Code of Ordinances, City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(6) With the exception of 100,feet for entrances and exits
on the major arteries, there shall be provided along
the entire periphery of the Travel Park a continuous
visual buffer a minimum height of six feet, which shall be
a compact foliage screening, or shall be a combined masonry
or wooden fence and shrubbery screen.
Section 4. Sub-paragraph (a), Utilities, of Sub-section (4),
Service Requirements, of Section 26- 11D, Travel Parks, of the Code of
Ordinances, City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby amended by
adding a new sub-paragraph (2) to read as follows;

(2) Such utilities as maybe deemed necessary by the office of
the city engineer shall be installed to serve each lot in
accordance with the permitted maximum occupancy period
of 120 days for independent travel trailers (as defined),
Section 5. Sub-paragraph (b), Duration of Stay, of Sub-section
(5), General Operating Requirements, of Section Z6-I1D, Travel Parks,
of the Code of Ordinances, City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(b) Duration of stay. Vehicle spaces shall be rented by the
day or week only, and the occupant of a vehicle site
shall remain at the travel park not more than thirty
(30) consecutive days. However, lots so supplied by
utilities as in (4) (a) (2) shall have permitted occupancy
not to exceed one hundred and twenty (120) days.
Section 6. Sub-paragraph 5 of Sub-section (a), Site Plan, of Sub-
section (7), Plan Preparation Requirements, of Section 26-11D, Travel
Parks, of the Code of Ordinances, City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is
hereby amended by adding a new sub-paragraph (gg) to read as follows:
(gg) Spaces to be occupied by independent travel trailers
(as defined)up to one hundred twenty (120) days shall'be
so designated on the plan as'a continuous area and such
utilities required shall be installed to serve each individual
space in accordance with (4) (a) (2) as above.
Section 7. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed,
Section B, Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 9. Any person or persons, firm or corporation or association
of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the terms or
provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court,
be fined not exceeding the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00), or
imprisonment in the City jail for not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by
