BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No, 1I20 passed by the City Commission of
the City of Clearwater on September 18, 1967, declaring the intention of
the City of Clearwater to annex certain described unincorporated property
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, by referendum
election to be held according to the provisions of Chapter 171, 04, Florida
Statutes, 1965, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through
its City Commission hereby declares its intention to annex into the corporate

limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described unincorporated
lands lying contiguous to the territorial limits of said City, and which lands
contain ten (10) or more registered electors and which lands will after
such annexation constitute a reasonably compact addition to the City of
Clearwater, such annexation to be by referendum vote in accordance with
the provisions of said Chapter 171. 04, Florida Statutes of 1965:

Section 3. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through
its City Commission intends to annex the foregoing unincorporated lands .
according to the provisions of Chapter 171. 04, Florida Statutes, 1965, and
to that end the City has scheduled a Referendum Election upon such annexation
in accordance with said Statute, said Referendum Election to be held-ran '
November 21, 1967, as a special City Election of the City of Clearwater
and as a special election in the unincorporated areas described above, all
in accordance with Chapter 171. 04, Florida Statutes. Notice of said election
shall be given in accordance with the ordinances and charter of the City
of Clearwater and in accordance with State election laws pertaining thereto.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and shall be published in accordance with law.
