AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER TO ANNEX A PORTION OF SECTION 20,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, UPON THE EXPIRATION OF THIRTY (30) DAYS
FROM THE PASSING OF THIS ORDINANCE, ACCORDING TO
THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES,
1963, AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
THIS ORDINANCE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA,
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through its
City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described parcel lying
contiguous to the territorial limits of said City and containing less than ten (10)
registered electors:

(A) From the SW corner of Gov't. Lot 1, Section 20, Town-
ship 29 South, Range 16 East run S 89013'1211 E along the S
line of said Gov't. Lot 1, 100. 00 feet for P. O, B. ; thence
run N 0052'2511 E along the E right of way of U. S. Highway
19 (State Road 55), and parallel to the W line of said Gov't.
Lot 1, 600 feet; thence run S 89°1311211 E 418 feet; thence run
S 0052125" W 600 feet; thence run N 8901311211 W along the
S line of said Gov't. Lot 1, 418 feet to P. O. B. Containing
5.76 acres, more or less.
(B) From the SW corner of Gov't.Lot 1, Sec. 20, Twp. 29 S,

Section Z. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, intends to annex the foregoing land according to the provisions
of Section 171. 04 of the Florida Statutes, 1963, and to that end the City Clerk
is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper
published in the City of Clearwater, once a week for four consecutive weeks
immediately after the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.

e rn, deposes and says:
1. That _ he -is the owner of acreage situate in' Pinellas
County, Florida, described as follows:
Parcels # 2 and # 3 described in the petition to the City
of Clearwater attached to this affidavit.
and has personal knowledge as to the occupancy of the land embraced
in said acreage and that said acreage contains less than ten (10)
registered electors.
2. That this affidavit is made in compliance with Sec. 171.04
of Florida Statutes 1961 and is made to induce the City of Clearwater
