AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER TO ANNEX THE PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DES-
CRIDED, WHICH IS TO BE KNOWN AS OAK ACRES, UNIT 8,
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, UPON THE EXPIRATION OF THIRTY (30) DAYS
FROM THE PASSING OF THIS ORDINANCE, ACCORDING TO
THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171"04, FLORIDA STATUTES,
1957, AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T14B CITY COP11ISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and
through its City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex in-
to the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the follow-
ing described lands lying contiguous to the territorial limits of said
City, which lands contain less than ten (10) registered voters.
From the SE corner of Section 14, Twp. 29S, Rge. 15E,
run N 8$0 591 481' w. along the South line of said Sec.
14 1055.74 ft. for a POD,- thence continue along said
line m $$0 59t 4$t, W. 141.80 ft.; thence run N 00 001
18 E. 634.30 ft. to a point on the South ROW line of
Magnolia Drive- thence run S 880 561 371r E. along said
ROW line 141.$0 ft. to a point one the West ROW line of
Woodside Avenue; thence run S. 0 00t 1$1, W. along the
West ROW line of Woodside Avenue 634.17 ft. to the POD, "
to be known as Oak Acres, Unit 8, Subdivision.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through
its City Commission, intends to annex the foregoing lands according to
the provisions of Section 171.04, Florida Statutes 1957, and to that end
the City Cleric is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Clear-
water Sun, a newspaper published in the City of Clearwater, once a week
for four consecutive weeks immediately after the passage of this Ordi-
nance.
Section 1. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
