ORDINANCE ANNEXING ACREAGE TO BE KNO'`!N AS FAIR OAKS
SUBDIVISION, FIRST ADDITION, INTO THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEAATER, FLORIDA, AND REDE-
FINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE
SAID ADDITION ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES; ZONING THE ANNEXED PROPERTY
R-1 RESIDENTIAL; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE.
7--m--`' .. WHEdEAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
enacted Ordinance No. 740 on June 24, 1957, which Ordinance declared the
intention of said City to annex Fair Oaks Subdivision, First Addition, into
the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and,
WHEREAS, said ordinance was published once a week for four consecu-
tive weeks in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in the City.of Clear-
water, Florida, proof of which publication is hereto attached; and,
.VHEREAS, more than thirty days has expired since the enactment of
Ordinance No. 740, and no registered voter of the City of Clearwater, no
other of real estate in the territory to be annexed, and no person whomso-
ever has objected to such annexation or has applied to the Circuit Court of
the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida, setting forth
any objections to said annexation; and,
WHEREAS, all of the-provisions of Section 171.04, Florida Stat-
utes, have been complied with:
NO-1, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COW4ISSION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
,Commission,?by the authority and under the provisions of Section 171.04., Flor-
ida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clear-
water, Florida, and re-defines the boundary lines of said City so as to in-
clude the following:
From the 1f.4 corner of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 13, Twp. 29S,
Age. 15 E run SOO 041 581, 'V, along the Sec. line,
1989.51 ft. to the 10 acre line, and S 890 181 541 E,
along the 10 acre line, 2304.86 ft. for POB; thence

Said property is hereby zoned R-1 Residential, and the City Engin-
eer and the City Clerk are directed to include in and set out and show upon
the official zoning map and other official maps of the City of Clearwater,
the foregoing property with its zoning as indicated.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
