AN ORDINANCE AIrfENDIN0 RDINANCE No. 651 THE PLUMBING
' CODE OF THE CITY OF 3LEARWATE10 BY AUTHORIZING THE
USE OF TRANSITE SMIER PIPE Oft ASBESTOS CE1ZNT PIPE;
AMENDING HEQUxREa-TENTS FOR CONSTIIUCTION OF PRIVATE
WIMIMING POOLS; f?EPEALxNG ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
FOR ITS EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COD24ISSION OF THE CITY.
OF CLEARWATEH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 20 of paragraphffG" of Ordinance
651, "The Plumbing Code of the City of Clearwaterlf is hereby amend-
ed by adding thereto the following;
rrxn addition to the materials set out, asbestos ,
cement pipe or transite sewer pipe may be used
for any building sewer line and when such asbdstos
cement or transite pipe is used, the joints shall
be constructed as recommended by the pipe mane--
facturrers."
Section 2., That sub-paragraph 2 of Paragraph "C't, section
29 of Ordinance No. 651 , "The Plumbing Code of the City of Clear-
water" is hereby amended to read as follows:
;. 112. All private pools and plunges, which are not
emptied each day after use, shall be provided with
automatic sterilizing apparatus, chlorinating appa-
ratus and filtration apparatus which is approved by

Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances inconfli.ct
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
