AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER TO ANNEX HIGHLAND TERRACE 14ANOR .AS RE-
CORDED IN PLAT BOOK 36, PAGE 46 PUBLIC RECORDS OF
PINELLAS COUNTY,FLORIDA UPON Th EXPIRATION OF
THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM ThE PASSAGE OF THIS ORDINANCE
ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.0. FLORIDA
STATUTES 1951; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
OF THIS 6RDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section le The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex into the cor-
porate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following de-
scribed subdivision lying contiguous to the territorial limits of
said City, which suLdivision contains less than ten (10) registered
voters:
HIGHLAND TERRACE MANOR, according to the map or plat
thereof as recorded in Plat book 36 page 46 of the
public records of Pinellas County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at the
Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter (NWT) of the
Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Section 11, Township 29 South,
Range 15 East; run thence South 89 deg. 22' 4811 East
1332.09 feet to the Northeast corner of the Northwest
Quarter (NWT) of the Northwest Quarter (NWT); run thence
South 0 deg. 23' 19» West 1331.02 feet to the Southeast
corner of the Northwest Quarter (NWT) of the Northwest
Quarter (NA); run thence North 89 deg. 22' 09=1 west
1332„75 feet to the Southwest corner of the Northwest
Quarter (NV1k) of the Northwest Quarter (NWT); run thence
North 0 deg. 141 5111 East 1330.77 feet to the Northwest
corner--of: tfie Northwest Quarter (NWO of the Northwest
Quarter-(NWk) of Section 11, ownship 29 South, Range
15 East, this being the Poirt of Beginning.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission intends to annex the foregoing lands according to the
provisions of Section 171,04, Florida Statutes, 1951 and to that end,
the City Auditor and Clerk is hereby directed to pubiish this ordinance
in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in the City of Clearwater,
once a week for four consecutive weeks immediately after the passage of
This Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
