A PENALTY T=EFOR.
WHEREAS our country in now engaged in n world vide war which squires
the cooperation of every able bodied citizen; and '
1 WHEREAS any citizen of sound body xtto in not in the armed forces and
who refuaae to work is retarding the war effort and rendering aid and
assistance to our enemies;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATR, FLORIDA:

occupation reasonably essential to the war effort shall be deemed guilty
of loitering; and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by fine not
exceeding Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) or by imprison?mnt in the City
Jail for a period of not more than ninety (90) days, or by both such fine
and imprisonment in the discretion of the unidpal Judge.

Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with be and the same are hereby repealed.
