AN ORDINANCE RF;OM ATING THE OPERATION OF RAILROAD TRA IS
WITHIN THE LWITS OF THE CITY OF CLLARWATER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COL21ISSIOIT OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA;
Section 1. SPEED LIMITS. tic railroad train or locomotive
shall be operated at a speed greater than fiftoen:milee per hour
within the area in the Cit)t of Clearwater bounded on the north be
Palmetto Street, on the east by Greenwood Avenue, on the south
by Druid Road, and on the vast by the Gulf of Mexico; no rail-
road traits or locomotive shall be operated at a #speed exceeding
thirty miles per hour in any part of the City of Clearwater lying
'outside of the area above described.'
Section 2. CERTAIN STREETS TO BE FLAGGED. All loco-
motives and railroad trains shall come to a full stop before cross-
ing Drev street and Cleveland Street, and some person shall precede
said locomotive or train across the said Drew and Cleveland Streets.
Provided, however, that this provision shall not apply at crossings
that are protected by gates, or by bells and lights or any other
effective warning device properly installed and kept in operation.
Section 3• TRA-n;S NOT TO BLOCK STREETS. It shall be
unlawful for the directing officer or operator of any railroad
train to direct the operation of or to operate the same in such
manner as to interfere with the use of any street for the purpose
of travel for a period of time longer than five minutes, except that
this provision shall not apply to trains or oars in motion other thah
those engaged in switching. It shall be unlawful for any railroad
train to stop at any intersection or on a cross walk for the purpose of
receiving or discharging passengers except at regular and designated
stations.
Section 4. SWITCH ENGINES TO BE FLAGGED. It shall
be unlawful for switch enbines or oars in the process of being
switched to pass over any paved street in the City of Clearwater
unless such switch engine or car shall be preceded across aaid
street by some person to give proper warning of the approach of said
enb1ne or car.
Section 5. PENALTY. Any person, firm or corporation
found to be guilty of a violation of ttis ordinance or any provision
hereor shall be punished by fine not exceeding Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00) or imprisonment not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by
both such fine and impriannmant.

Section 6. EFFECTIVE DATIi. This ordinance shall become
effective imnadintely upon its paneago and adoption by the City
Commission of the City of 01corwater.
Section 7. REPEAL. All ordinances or parts of ordinancoo

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING WOOD-YARDS
AIM REgUIRING PUBLIC POSTING OF
PRICES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COWISSION OF TIE CITY OF
CLEARVIATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. POSTING OF PRICES. Every person owning or
operating a wood-year shall post and keep posted in a conspicuous
place on the premises a price list showing the various kinds and
sizes of wood for sale and the prices to be charged therefor.
All sales of wood shall be in conformity with the posted prices.
Section 2. SALE BY TIM CORD. Where wood is offered for
sale at a certain price per cord, each cord shall conform to the
standard dimension of four feet wide and four fast high and eight
feet long, or the equivalent thereof,
section 3. SALE BY THE STRAND. Where wood is offered
for sale at a certain price per straid or other unit, the length
of the wood and the exact measurements of the strand or other unit
shall be specified. All sales of wood shall be in conformity with
the measurements as specified.
Section 4. PENALTY. Any person, firm or corporation
found to be guilty of a violation of this ordinance or any pro-
vision hereof shall be punished by fine not exoeeding One Hundred
Dollars (4100.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty (30)
days, or by both such fine and inprisonment.
Section 5. EFFECTr"- DATE. This ordinance shall be-
come effective immediately upon its paesa6o and adoption by the
city Commission of the City of Clearwater, rlorida.
