OLBARMER, FLORIDA=
1. That the City of Clearwater strongly protests against any ra-
striations on the sale of gasoline in Florida because this state has access
to a plentiful supply of gasoline by barge and otherwise, and no such re-
strictions are neoessary.
2. That the City of Clearwater sincerely urges that no restrictions
be placed on the sale of gasoline in the Atlantic seaboard states, unless ab-
nolutel7 eaaontiai to the national defense, because such restriction will
seriously affect the incomes of a great many Florida citizens and make it very
difficult, if not impossible, for them to meet the heavy Federal taxes that are
to be levied next year.
3. That a copy of this resolution be sent to Honorable Harold L.
Ickes, Secretary of the Interior, and to Honorable Speaaard L. Holland, Govern-
or of the State of Florida. ,
