That the City of Clearwater strongly protests against any ra- striations on the sale of gasoline in Florida because this state has access to a plentiful supply of gasoline by barge and otherwise, and no such re- strictions are neoessary. 2. That the City of Clearwater sincerely urges that no restrictions be placed on the sale of gasoline in the Atlantic seaboard states, unless ab- nolutel7 eaaontiai to the national defense, because such restriction will seriously affect the incomes of a great many Florida citizens and make it very difficult, if not impossible, for them to meet the heavy Federal taxes that are to be levied next year. 3. Mr. E. B. Casler, dr., appeared before the Board relative to taxea on property located at tho southwest cornor of Park Street and South Garden Avenue, owned by Mrs. Floseie Harris. Mr. Caalor said it tea his understanding that a previous City Commission had agreed to let this property be City' Tax Free as long as the same was being used by. the 17. P. A. It appeared thatthe property, in question had bean taxed, Mayor Seav7 told Mr. Caslar that the matter would be Investigated.
