TAXES ON TOLL BRZD(3F;3 ANA TOLL CAUSE5tiAY9, AND PROVIDING
FOR THE PAr,.=T AiiD COLLECTION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM!ISSIOIN OF THE CITY OF
CT,WWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. No person, firm or corporation, nor the
agent, sowvant or employee of suoh, shall be allowed to
engage in the business of operating a toll bridge or toll
causeway located wholly or partially within the limits of
the City of Clearwater without first having paid to the
City tax collector a toe of One Hundred Twenty-Five ($ 125.00)
Dollars and hating reoeived a license to engage in such business.
Section 2. .Vo lioonse shall be issued for more than one
year, and all licenses shall expire on the first day of October
of each year. All licenses shall be payable on or before the
first day of October of eaoh year; and any person who was not
eligible for a license during the first halt of the license
year may be issued a license during the eaocneL halt of the
lioeuse year upon payment of the aeon of $ 68.50.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation who shall
violate any of the provisions of this ordinanee shall, upon
conviction in the Uunicipal Court of the City of Clearwater,
be punished by a fine not exceeding One Hundred ($ 100.00)
Dollars or by imprisonment in the City Jail not exceeding one
month, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion
of the L'unioipal Judge.
Section 4. All Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
Section 5. This ordinanae shall booome effective immed-
iately upon its passage and adoption by tho City Commission.

of March, A. D. 1934.
