AN ORDINANCE FIXING RATES AND PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF THE WATER DEPART- MENT OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CM COMMISSION OF THE CI'TY' OF CLEARNATER, FLORIDA : SECTION 1. Any person, firm or corporation within the City of Clear- water wanting water service must make application for such service conoootion to CIt7 water main, to the Superintendent of the Water Department, who shall issue permit for suol_ connection and said appli- cant must pay tapping fee as not forth in Section Two hereof, to the City Collector before connection will be made. All taps and conneo- tions to be made by authorized employees of the Water Department. Water service connection to persons, firms or corporations outside city limits are to be made by special permits, issued by the Superin- tendent of the Water Department and approved by the City Manager. SECTION 2. Terms and fees for tapping are as follows : 5/8 inch in size, regular house service tap will be $10.00 for tapping, all con- nections to be extended from water main to outside curb line. Larger size taps and connections to be wade and charges filed on coat of material used and labor for samme. 5/8 inch meters and boxes are to be furnished by the Water Department. Larger size meters to be charged for at cast, loss allowance of cast of 5/8 inch size. SECTION 3. Water rates under the different schedules to be as follows: (a) Domestic, (store, office or residential service) etc., will be $1.25 per month, m+*+++++t+n+, with a matimum allowance of 400 cubic feet per month ; additional quantities :Mill be 20eents par 100 cubic feet, up to 1000 cubic feet, inclusive, and 15 cents per 100 cubic feet for any amounts above 1000 cubic feet. Rates where no meters are in- stalled shall be $1.25 per month, mint=-- for one faucet or fixture. Ten cents for each additional faucet or fixture.
