BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CaAMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER:
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of April, 1926, the qualified
electors of the City Of Clearwater, voting in an election duly
held in said City, voted in favor of the issuance and sale of
• bonds of said City in the amount of $830,000.00 the funds derived
from said sale 'to be used for certain specified municipal
purposes,and
' WHEREAS, Bonds of said city so authorized to be sold, were
' duly issued and sold, and
WHEREAS,,the purposes for which said bonds were issued and sold,
have been fulfilled and the objects thereof have been fully
attained, and.the projects for which said bonds were issued and
sold, have been fully completed and paid for, and said surplus
' having been duly declared by the City Commission of said City, and
WHEREAS There remains a balance or surplus of said funds in the
hands of the said City in the sum of $67,071.12, and
' WHEREAS, It has been suggested to the City Commission of said
City that said surplus funds, or so much thereof as may be
" necessary, be used and expended to pay the cost of constructing
two certain trunk line storm sewers of said City, toy-wit:
Part of the cost of that certain storm sewer on Greenwood Ave.
between Drew St. and Palmetto St., and that certain storm sewer on
Myrtle Avenue between Turner St, and Cleveland St., and all of the
cost of storm sewers on Maple St. from Greenwood Ave. to Pennsylvania

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
f CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION S. That a special Election, be held at the City Hall in

? the City of Clearwater to determine whether said surplus bond
funds, to the extent of $30,203.41, shall be used and expended for
the purpose of paying the cost of constructing said sewers, in
which election only those persons authorized by the Charter of said
City to vote in Bond Election shall participate. Said election
shall be held on the 4th day of September, 1928, and the question
of vihe?ther said surplus bond funds, to the extent of $ 300203.410
shall be used and expended, to pay the cost of the construction
' of said sewers, shall be subuiittad to the electors of said City

possessing the qualifications of electors in bond elections as
s.. provided by the Charter of said City;
SECTION II. There shall be provided for the use of said electors
ballobb in substantially the following form:

Special Election of the City of Clearwater, Florida,

Make a cross mark(X) before the proposition in favor of
the expenditure of the surplus, to the extent of 430,203.41,
of the $830,000.00 bond funds authorized by the electors of said

City on April 27th, 1926, to pay the cost of constructing the

whioh said ordinance provides for the expenditure of $30,203.41
of surplus funds derived from the sale of $830,000.00 of bonds
authorized by the electors of the City of Clearwater on the 27th
day of April, 1926, to pay the cost of constructing the following
storm sewers of said city, to'-wit: Part of the cost of constructing
a storm sewer on Greenwood Avenue from Drew Street to Palmetto
Street, and part of the cost of a storm sewer on Myrtle Avenue
from Turner Street to Cleveland Street, and all of the cost of
storm sewers on Maple Street from Greenwood Avenue to Pennsylvania
Avenue, and on Turner'Street from Myrtle Avenue to ditch, subject ,
to the approval of the electors of said City who are qualified to
vote in bond elections of said City.
Notioe is further given that a Special Election shall be held
in the City of Clearwater on the 4th day of September, 1928, at the
City Hall in said City to be participated in by the qualified elect-
ors of said City who are qualified to vote in bond elections under
the Charter of said City, and at said election, the question of
whether or not said fund shall be used and expended by the City
Commission for said purpose shall be submitted to said electors.
