AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARC;ATER PROVIDING FOR THE
MAKING CF TRAFFIC RULES AND REGUi,ATIONS

Yp BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
Section 1. That the authority to make and enforce all rules and
regulations governing traffic and the use of the streets, avenues,
alleys and other public places of the City of Clearwater by vehicles
and pedestrian, is hereby vested in the office of City Managers and
that the person holding druid office be and the some are given full
power to designate directions of traffic, time limits and locations
for parking, reservation of parking spaces, maximim and mindmum speeds
insofar as some shall not conflict with the laws of the State of
glorida , to establish through streets and stop crossings, and to in-
stall such street signs, and indicators and markings as shall be nece-

regulations.
Section 2. That any rule or regulation so made or provided shall
be published in a local news paper one or more times,provided how
ever that the first publication thereof shall be not less than two ,
full days before said rule or regulation shall become effective.
Section 3. That any person or persons, firm or corporation
who shall violate any of the rules or regulations, made and published s

as herein provided shall be deemed guilty of-'a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Two
Hundred Dollers ($200.00) or by imprisonment in the City jail or P
at labor upon the streetsar public works of the City of Clear- t
water for a period no exceeding ninety (90) days or by both such fine ?
.; and imprisonment at the .decision of the Muhicipal Judge.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediatel.y,•upon.its• passage. y;
Section 5 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-

, providing that all

in full force and effect.
