" BE IT. 00AINED BY THt: CITY ca.- r,issioN OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATE:h, FLOHIDA. Section 1. No person shall engage in or nnnago the profession or occupation named hereinafter within the City of Clearwater, unless a City License shall be secured from the City Clerk of this City, which licenses shall be issued to each person on receipt of the amount hereinafter stated, and the same shall be signed by the City Clerk and the City Manager, and have the City Seal affixed, Except as hereinafter provided, no person, firm or corporation shall be required to procure more than one license for each place of business, He shall pay therefor the &ighest amount payable hereunder for any of the occupations hereinafter named, in which he may engage. That in case of boarding houses, stables, and other est- ablishments where it is necessary to ascertain the number of rooms, roomers, horsosi. mules or other articles or things in the said establishments, then the owner or manager shall. make an affidavit as to such number and file the sake with the application for license. The right to revoke any license issued under the provisions of this ordinance for cause, is reserved to the City of Clearwater, and said revocation shall be made at the direction of the City Commission. Any person, or persons, firm or corporation, or association that shall carry on or conduct any.business occupation or profession for which a license is hereby required without first obtaining r4icense, shall upon conviction, be•punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) or be imprisoned for not more than sixty days, or both. Section 2. Any ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed.
