An Ordinance To Be Entitled An Ordinance, Relating To
Intoxicating Liquor.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY IF CLEARVIATLR,
FLORIDA.
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to manufacture
. ! distilligr ferment any intoxicating liquor, within the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater.
SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to have in
his or her possassion or under hia or her costod of control

any distilling apparatus, or any piece, part or parcel, of any
distilling apparatus, des ignod or adopted for the distillation
of intoxicating liquors.
SECTION 3. It shall be unlawful for any person to have in
his or her possession any mash, or fermented liquids, capable
of being distilled into intoxicating liquor.
SECTION 4. It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his
or her possession, any intoxicating liquors, commonly called
Moonshine, at any place in the City of Clearwater; and it shall
be unlawful for any person to have in his or her possession,
more than four quarts of liquor, other than in his or her bona-
fide residence.
Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to preuent the
manufacture or sale of alcohol for xi:edicinal, scientific, or
mechanical pruposes, or wine for sacramental purposes, or prohibit
the sale or keeping for sale, by licensed duuggist of alcohol
for medicinal, scientific rind mechanical purposes, or wine for
sacramental purposes by religious bodies, or organizations using
wino for sacramental purposes, but no druggist shall sell any
alcohol, except for purposes aforedaid, and alcohol shall not be
sold by any druggist for medicinal purposes, sacramental or m6-
ehanieal except upon written and signed prescription by a
licensed physician.

SECTION 5. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, barter,
exchange or deal in intoxicating liquor, except us heroin provided.

•SECTIO11 6. The term intoxicating liquor, shall be construed
to mean any liquor designed, or ndoptod for bonerago purposes,
containing more than ono-half of one par coat of alcohol by volume.
SECTION 7. Any person found to be Wiilty of a violation of
any of the foregoing sections, shall be fined not more than two
hundred dollars, or sontenced to imprisonment in the City ,fail,'
or at hard'work upon streets or public work of said City, not
snore than sixty days or by both such fine and sentenco.
