An Ordinance Entitled " An Ordinance to Amend Section 83 of the
Revised Code of the City of Clearwater relative to License Feoo for
Plumber and to Amend Section 232 of the Revised Code of the City of
s Clearwater relative to Permits for Plumbing or Sewerage Work andto
prescribe the Conditions under which Licenses may be granted to
Plumbers."
i Be It Ordained By The City Council of the City of Clearwater , Florida:
Section 1. That that part of Section 83 of the Revised Code of
the City of Clearwater under the Letter "P1' which reads as follows,to-Sit:
' "Plumbers, job work or contracting ------------------- $10.00." ?r..
Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follwos, to-wit:
"License fee to be charged contracting Plumbers who shall have j
. a permanent place of business within the City of Clearwater shall be '
. ten dollars ($10.00). The License fee to be charged contracting ;
Plumbers who shall not have a permanent place of business within said s .. ;
} city shall be $100.00."
•. Provided that each contracting plumber, firm or corporation ?.'
desiring such license shall at the time of fileing their application

for license with the City Clerk be required to file with such applica-

tion a bond in the sum of $500.00 with two or more sureties to be .
. approved by the City Council or an approved Surety Compairy payable .
of the City of Clearwater and that in the prosecution of any and all

,•.:. '. sewer mains or in any manner disturb aby of the streets and hi&ways

Provided that no such permits shall be granted unless said
application is signed by a licensed plumber, firm or corporation
of said City who has complied with the regualtions of this ordinance
relative to giving a bond as such contracting plumber, firm or corporatiola.
PROVIDI) further that when any permit is granted upon such
application the contacting plumber, firm or corporation signing such
appli.catuon shall be held responsible for Ybe proper prosecution of
the work to be done under such permit.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinaces or port-
ions of the Revised Code of the City of Clearwater in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinace are hereby repealed.
