FLORIDA:
Section 1. No porson, firm or corporr-.tion, nor agonts
servcuit or employee of much, shall be'allowed to engage in j
the peddling of hawking of good, wares or merchandise, or
} any other thing of value in said city, without first having
( i
paid to the City Tax Collector a license fee of Tvio Hundred
Dollars ( 0200.00) and having received a license to engage in
such business or occupation.
1 Section 2. The foregoing section shall be construed ,
to apply to all persons who shall sell, or offer for sale, t.
j within the City limits, any commodity, goods, wares or
merchandise from any vehicle, boat, tent booth, or any other
temporary place of business, but shall not apply to merchants
having a permanent place of business, or to farmers or other
parsons selling produce grown by themselves.
Section 3. No peddlers license shall be issued for a
fractional part of a year.
{ Section 4. Any person who shall violate the provisions
of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine
not exceeding Two Hundred Dollars (0200.00) or by imprisonment
in the City Jail, or at labor upon the public works of the City
not exceeding ninety days, or by both such fine and imprison-
went e.t the discretion of the Mayor, ?
Section 5. Each separate clay any person shall engage
' in peddling or hawking without first having secured a license
as herein provided, shall be deemed guilty of a separate and

provided in the preceding section of this ordinance.
Section 6. All, ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
