VIIII REAS the Town Council of the Town of Clearwater deem it necessary, expedient, and for the best interest of said Town that certain stornii sewors and drainage be imme- diately constructed within the Town, as follows, to-wit: A line on Chesnut Street from Fort Harrison Avenue to A.C.L. R. It., with 12 inch tile, and a line on Park Street from A.C.L. R. h. to section line, with 12 inch tile and.cast iron pipe, and extension of Section line ditch from Cleveland Street to Franklin Street, with 24 inch tile and necessary manholes; and whereas the Town 1,Mgineor has submitted an es- timate on said proposed storm sewors and drainage, estimating the cost thereof to be y?2,953.35; THEREFORE, BE IT O1iDAINhD BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF TI1L TCF.IN OF CL;:;fi1WIA?'Ia1t, FLO1;IllA: Section 1. That a special tax of one-hall' mill upon t the dollar of the assessed valuation of the real and per- _ ., sonal property within said Town is hereby levied for a per- iod of five years and that the Tax Asmeacor of the Town of _. ?. Section 2. That the Tax Collector of the Town of Clearwater, Florida, be, and he is hereby, instructed to collect such special levy at the same time and in t:h© same manner as other taxes are collected, for each of the five years heretcfore mentioned; and that the Tax Collector is further instructed to make a deposit of the same in the Town Depository of the Town of Clearwater, Florida, separ- ately from all other funds, and that such special tax shall be carried on the books of the Tax Co3.lect',,r and knovin as the SPBCZAL STOHM SEVER AID DitA1111jWB YU D, wid that said fund shall not be diverted or usod for any other purpose than for the payment for the construction of storm sayers and drainage. Section S. That the Town Depository shall receive such moneys at the same time and in the same manner as it receives other taxes, and shall carry the said special fund on its books separately and apart from other fUnds. I Section 4. Th,,.t a special election is hereby called to be held in the Town ]call of the Town of Clearwater,, Flo- rida, on the 1st day of June, A. D. 1915, to be participated in only by the qualified electors of said Town who are ovrners of real estate therein, to vote upon the ratification or rejection of the levying of the special tax, as provided for in this ordinance. Section 5.
