'AN ORDINAliCi GRANTING CERTAIN RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGE
TO J. , MOFFETT' McCLUNG OP CLEARwATER, HILLSBORO COUNTY$ FLA.
Be it ordained by the Town Council of the Town of
Clearwater,
SECTION 1. That the Town of Clearwater hereby
i grants unto J. P,ioffetf: McClung of Closirwator, Hillsborough
County, Florida, the-aright, privilege and franchise of establish-
'
ing a system of waterpipes throughout the town of Clearwater,
f
its streets, alleys and highways with the privilege of charging
•, rent and tolls for the use of said water..
SECTION 2. That the right and privilegos hereby
granted shall be in effect, and 'force for the term of thirty(30)
years from the date this ordinance'goes into effect, and pro- i
;. vided further that the said water pipes shall be installed within
fifteen(15) months from the, date of this franchise.
SECTION 3. That 'rat the expiration of five yearn
..from the date of this franchise, the torn of Clearwater shall have i• .
the right to purchase the said water :system installed under this
grant within the limit of said town of Clearwater or such part
of it as the said town of Clearwater may desire to purchase
r at.a valuation of such property desired to be purchased which i
valuation shall be fixed by axly1tration as may, be provided by law. "
SECTION A. That the pipes in the streets -skull be be laid not less than six inches below the surface and such
mariner and places as may be designated by the street committee, ?
