Dear Ms. LaTerza:
Enclosed is your copy of the fully executed Vehicle UsP. Agreement between the City of Clearwater, Florida and the School Board of Pinellas
County, Florida.
All requests for buses not yet submitted are to be sent to me at least 10 working days prior to the scheduled event.
Due to our new computer program each request must include current date and the following:
BillinQ Information: -name of person who authorized trip
-address and name of who trip is billed to
-name and phone number of person making request
The current rates are $12.50 an hour and $0.90 a mile for day trips and $18.75 an hour and $0.90 a mile, for night trips. These rates are
subject to change.
Drivers shall be paid the actual time of field trips. Additionally, for trips which originate at the bus compound, drivers shall be paid for
fifteen (15) minutes time prior to the scheduled departure from the compound, and fifteen (15) minutes after the return to the compound.
Trips which are canceled after the bus arrives at the site: the charge is $25.00 per bus. Required tolls for bridges are the responsibility of
the organization requesting the field trip.

-trip date, description and destination
-pick up address (place)
-special instructions (optional)
-approximate number of children and adults
-number of buses
.pick up and return time

After I receive your request(sl, I'll send it to the appropriate bus compound Field Trip Clerk for action. Your Field Trip Clerk operates out of
the Clearwater Bus Compound; her name is Sheryl Giordano. If you have changes to scheduled trips contact Sheryl directly at 298.1643.
These five days in August: 13th, 14th, 15th and 18th and August 19th, we will be unable to schedule buses due to mandatory driver training.
Due to increases in our operating costs, we anticipate that there will be a rate increase in the very near future. You will be sent a notice
when we are notified of the new rate(s).
