AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2645-82, WHICH AMENDED
SECTION 72.05 OF CHAPTER 72, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES,
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CLEARWATER,
TO ESTABLISH A NEW ZCOPS CLASSIFICATION; PROVIDING
FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT:
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission on March 18, 1982, passed
Ordinance No. 2645-82 creating a ZCOPS classification for a restaurant
known as The Good Earth Restaurant; and
WHEREAS, the City was notified on April 20, 1982, that such
restaurant would not be locating in the zone; and
WHEREAS, such alcoholic beverage zone is not necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 2645-82 passed by the City
Commission of the City of Clearwater on March 18, 1982, be and the same
is hereby repealed.
Section Z. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Section 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
