AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 135, PLUMBING CODE, OF TITLE
XI, BUILDING AND ZONING REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CLEAT; WATER, TO PROVIDE
FOR ADOPTING THE 1979 EDITION OF THE STANDARD
PLUMBING CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY
OF THE PROVISIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR THE
REPEAL OF ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR PROPER
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 135. 01, Standard Plumbing Code--Adopted,
of Chapter 135, Plumbing Code, of Title XI, Building and Zoning Regulations,
of the Code of Ordinances, City of Clearwater, be and the same is hereby
'amended to read as follows:
Sec. 135.01. Standard Plumbing Code--Adopted.
There is hereby adopted by the city that certain code
known as the Standard Plumbing Code, 1g75-e i-tiG-Mwi*h
?9?6-?8 rtL??ieirat?s - 1979 edition, together with Appendix
A and B of such edition, and the whole thereof, save and
except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified
or amended by section 135. 02, of which code three (3)
copies thereof are now and have been for the last preceding
ten (10) days on file in the office of the city clerk, and
the same are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference
as fully as if set out at length herein.
Section 2. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect the
validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the part
declared to be invalid.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Section 166. 0+41, Florida Statutes.

Section S. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
