ORDINANCE NO. 3630-84
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 20199 RELATING TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, TO
CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER;
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES;
PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED
ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
.OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act (LGCPA)
requires that all development regulations and amendments thereto related to an
adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be reviewed by the Local Planning
Agency (LPA) for conformance with plans adopted pursuant to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the PCPC has adopted
guidelines with reference to such required referral process; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by the
PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act, 1975, as amended, and pursuant to all applicable pro-
visions of law, Section I of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended by placing the hereinafter
described property in the lend use category as follows:
Property,
(L.U.P. 84-22) Commence at the Northeast
corner of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast
1/4 of Section 18, Township 29 South, Range
16 East and run N 89°42' 4311 W, 100.01 feet
along the East-West centerline of said
secticn 18, also the centerline of State
Road 60, to a point on a line 100 feet West
of and parallel to the centerline of U. S. 19;
thence S 01° 0310 411 W, along said line,
1293.21 feet to a paint on the easterly
extension of the North right-of-way line of
Druid Road; thence N 89 201 07" W, 829.95 feet
along said North right-of-way line and its Easterly
extension for a point of beginning; thence continue
N 89° 20107" W, 152.50 feet along said North
right-of-way line, to a point on the East line
of a Florida Power Corporation right-of-way;
thence N 0102010511 E, 536.78 feet along said
East, line to a point on the South line of
Clearwater Professional Center, as recorded
in Condominium Plat Hook 70, pages 105 and
106, of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida; thence S 89° 4114211 E,'149.85 feet
along said South line to the West right-of--way
line of Bypass Drive; thence run S 01° 03110411
W, along wild West right-of--way line to the
point of beginning.

Florida. Al Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that the measures
contained in this ordinance are consistent and in conformance with the City's
Comprehensive Plan and individual elements thereof adopted pursuant to the LGCPA
and directs that same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate
action.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has been
properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance with Section
166.041, Florida Statutes.
Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage.
