AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLF•ARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING A CERTAIN STORM DRAINAGE RETENTION/
DETENTION EASEMENT IN SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 28
SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA;
PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED
ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by The Lane Company, owner
of certain real property in Section 31, Township 28 South, Range 16 East,
in the City of Clearwater, Florida, that the City of Clearwater, Florida,
vacate a certain storm drainage retention/ detention easement; and
WHEREAS, after proper public notice and public hearing thereon,
the City Commission finds that said easement is not necessary nor required
for municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest and advantage
of the City and the 'general public that the same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
'COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section _1_._ That the following:
A tract of land lying in Section 31, Township 28 South,
Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commence at the NE corner of said Section 31, thence
S 89°47'07" W, along the North line of said Section 31,
for 1574.24'feet; thence S 42"5315411 E, along the West
right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 19, for 738.40 feet;
thence leaving said West line S 47°06°06!' W, for 200.02 feet;
thence S 31°39'00'1 E, for 56.45 feet to the P. 0. B; thence
S 31 ° 39' 00" E, for 152.04 feet; thence N 87 °00' 38" W, for
4.81 feet; thence S 02.5912211 W, for 60.00 feet; thence
N 8.7°00138'! W, for 161.00 feet; thence N 02°06106" E, for
101.60 feet; thence N 47°06'06" E, for 116. 31 feet to the
P.O.B.,
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of
Clearwater hereby quit claims and releases all of its right, title and
interest thereto to the persons, firms or corporations entitled thereto
by law.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record this
ordinance in the Public-Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
