AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMIXNDING ORDINANCE NO. 2019, RELATING TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, TO CHANGE
THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATE:R; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR
1=ROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PRO-
VIDING POP. THE EFFZCTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.

WHEREAS, Chu Luc:ul Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LQCPA) raquires that all development regulations and amendments thereto
rub%tud to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be reviewed by
the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with plans adopted pursuant
to 14,a LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the, Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
(61mignnted the. Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the PCPC has
itdoptnd guidelinns with reference to such required referral process; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by.
Clio PCPC under said process;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CL EARWATER, FLORIDA:
5a_etion 1 Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act, 1975, as amended, and pursuant to all
applicable provisions of law, Section I of'Ordinance No. 2019 is amended
by placing tha hereinafter described property in the land use category as

the City's Comprehensive Plan and individual elements thereof adopted pursuant
to the LGCPA and directs that same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt
and appropriate action.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
-with Section 166.041; Florida Statutes.
Section 55. The provisions' of this 'ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage,
