AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2019, RELATING TO LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, 7-0
DELETE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM THE CLEAR-
WATER COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN MAP; PRO-
VIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES;
PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED
ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.

WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments thereto
related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be reviewed by
the. Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with plans adopted
pursuant to thiq LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the PCPC has
adopted guidelines with reference to such required referral process; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by
the PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions. of the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act, 1975, as amended, and pursuant to all
applicable provisions of law, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended
by deleting the hereinafter described property from the Clearwater
Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map;
Commence at the NW corner of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4
of Section 21, Township 28 South, Range 16 East; thence
S 89°2214311 E, 50.00 feet; thence S 0°03120" E, 30. 00 feet
to the P. O. B. ; thence S 89 02214311 E, 435.60 feet; thence
S 0"0312011 E, 200.00 feet; thence N 89°22143'1 W, 435.60 feet; .
thence N 0°0312011 W, 200.00 feet to the P. O. B.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that the
measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in conformance with
the Cityrs"Comprehensive Plan and individual elements thereof adopted
pursuant to the LGCPA and directs that same be forwarded to the LPA for
their receipt and appropriate action.

Section 3, All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed,
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of thin ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Section 166.041, Florida Statutes.
Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
