ORDINANCE NO 2569-81
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 71, LICENSES, OF TITLE VII,
BUSINESSES AND BUSINESS REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CLEARWATER, TO ESTABLISH
A FEE FOR BLOOD PRESSURE MACHINES AND HEALTH
MACHINES FOR AN OPERATOR WHOSE OFFICE IS IN
THE CITY AND FOR EACH SUCH MACHINE OPERATED
IN THE CITY; TO PROVIDE THAT BLOOD PRESSURE
MACHINES SHALL BE RE-CALIBRATED AT LEAST EVERY
NINETY DAYS AND SUCH REPORTS SHALL BE MAINTAINED
BY THE OPERATOR` FOR INSPECTION UPON DEMAND;
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT
OF SUCH CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY
OF THE PROVISIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR PROPER
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 71. 13, Schedule of Fees, of Chapter 71,
Licenses, of Title VII, Business and Business Regulations, of the Code of
Ordinances, City of Clearwater, is hereby amended as to Categories (49)
and (172) and to' enact a new Note J to read as follows:

NOTE J.
Blood Pressure Machines shall be re-calibrated as frequently

Y' Section Z All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section _3. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance
has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Section 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section_ _5. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage.
