AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2019, RELATING TO THE LAND 4
USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, TO ??:
CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN '?
REAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER;,•`;
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES;
PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ?.
ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act (LGCPA)
requires that all development regulations and amendments thereto related to on P:

adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be reviewed by the Local Planning
Agency (LPA) for conformance with plans adopted pursuant to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been E
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the PCPC has adopted
'
guidelines with reference to such required referral process; and a
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by the
PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION'
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER FLORIDA:
Section 1. -Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act, 1975, as amended, and pursuant to all applicable pro-
visions of law, Section I of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended by placing the hereinafter
described property in the land use category as follows:
Property
(L.U.P. 81-51) The westerly 368 feet of the
following described parcel of land: The South
Yz of the N Yx of the SW Ya of the NW V4 of the
NW %, of Section 16, Township 29 South, Range 16
East. Also a strip of land described as:
Beginning at the NE corner of the above described
parcel of land and running thence West along the
North boundary of said parcel 368 feet to the NW
corner of said parcel; thence North 4 feet;
thence East parallel to the North boundary of
said parcel 368 feet; thence South 4 feet to the
point of beginning. Less and except the following
described parcel of land: Beginning at the SE
corner of the parcel of land first hereon described
and running thence West 4,96 feet; thence North
25 feet; thence East 4.96 feet; thence South 25
feet to the point of beginning.
AND
Beginning 306 feet West of the NE corner of the
South Y2 of the SW Y. of the NW % of the NW Y4 of
Section 16, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, and
running thence West 363.04 feet to a point in the
West line of the aforesaid section; thence south
along the said section line, 330 feet to the SW
corner of the NW Yr of the NW Y,. of said Section 16;
thence East along the forty-acre line, 363.04 feet,
thence North 330 feet to the point of beginning.

Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that the measures
contained in this ordinance are consistent and in conformance with the City's
Comprehensive Plan and individual elements thereof adopted pursuant to the LGCPA
and directs that same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate
action.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has been
properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance with Section
166.041, Florida Statutes.
Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon Its passage.
