the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with plans adopted
pursuant to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has
been designated the Local Planning agency for Pinellas County and the
PCPC has adopted guidelines with reference to such required referral
process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through
its City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of
Section 171, 044, Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary
lines of said City so as to include the following described parcel of
real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and establishes fire dis-
trict classification therefor:
Lots Z and 19, Block 17 and Lot 1, Block 19,
Third Addition to Highland Pines, according
to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 32, Page 71, of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, together with
abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby desig.
nated Fire District No. 2.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that the
:measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in conformance
with the Cityls Comprehensive Plan and individual elements thereof adopted
pursuant to the LGCPA and directs that same be forwarded to the LPA for
their receipt and appropriate action.
Section 3. The City Commission hereby formally and according
to law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have here..

tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
S66t` ion 4. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
.Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and

Section 5. This ordinance and notice of the proposed enact-
ment of same has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general
circulation in accordance with Section 166. 041, Florida Statutes, and
Section 171. 044, Florida Statutes.
Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance
Book and a copy thereof being filed in the office of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida. In accordance with Section.
171.091, and Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall
be filed with the Department of State of the State of Florida.
