ORDINANCE NO. 2346-81
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2019, RELATING TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, TO CHANGE
THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEAR WATER; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR
PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Local Government comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments thereto
related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be reviewed by
the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with plans adopted pursuant
to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the PCPC has
adopted guidelines with reference to such required referral process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act, 1975, as amended, and pursuant to all
applicable provisions of law, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended
by placing the hereinafter described property in the land use category as
follows:
Property
(L. U. P. 80-64)' Lots 1, 2, 3, 4
and North 1/2: of abutting vacated alley,
in Block '8, Bayvie'w City Subdivision,
according to the map or plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 9, page 43
of the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida.

From: Low Density Residential
To: Residential/ Office
Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that the
measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in conformance with
the City's Comprehensive Plan and individual elements thereof adopted pursuant
to the LGCPA and directs that same be forwarded to the LPA for their
receipt and appropriate action.

Section 3, All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Section 166.041, Florida Statutes.
Section S. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
