ORDINANCE NO. 2285
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1980, AS AMENDED,
BY RECLASSIFYING AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; PRO-
VIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS
HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PRO-
POSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE,
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1980, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain
proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to the
zoning atlas were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of
all evidence presented at the said public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY. OF CLEARWA TER, PLO.^'IIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and "The Zoning
Atlas of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 198011, as amended, is amended
to indicate that fact as hereinafter set out:
Zoned as'RM-_16-''Medium Density Multi-Family Use District
A tract of land lying in the NE 1 /4 of Section 20, Township 28
South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida, and tieing
more particularly described as follows:
Commence at the SE corner of the NE-1/4 of Section 20,
Township 28 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida;
thence N 00°04124" E along the East line of said NE 1/4
for 10.00 feet, to the P.O.B.; thence S 89°54'5811 W, for
77.60 feet; thence N 82°44120" W, for 316. 32 feet, to the
point of curvature of a curve concave. to the NE; thence
northwesterly along the arc,of said curve having a radius
of 210.00 feet and a central angle of 63.2310411, for 232, 32
feet, to the point of tangency; thence N 19.21' 16" W, for
240. 78 feet, to the intersection of the easterly right-of-way
line of Landmark Drive of the Plat of Countryside Tract 55 -
Unit.l, as'recorded in Plat Book 80, pages 16 through 19,
of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, said inter-
section being the intersection of a curve concave to the NW,
and having a bearing of S 21.3610711 E from the radius point;
thence northeasterly along said easterly right-of-way line on
the arc of said curve having a radius of 1020. 03 feet and a
central angle of 68°19'29", for 1216.38 feet, to the point of.
cusp; thence S 00°0412411 W along the East line of said NE 1/4,
for 1352. 85 feet, to the P. O. B.

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of thin ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper o f general circulation in accordance
with Section 166.041, Florida Statutes.
Section 5, The Planning Director is directed to include and set out
and show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
amendments as hereinabove set out.
Section 6. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
