2266b Q of Clearwater determined that it would not proceed with a municipal marina AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO, 2224 WHICH AUTHORIZED DREDGING PERMITS FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF SUCH DREDGING AT A REFERENDUM ELECTION; PROVIDING PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, following passage of Ordinance No. 2224, the City facility for recreational watercraft with dredging; and WHEREAS, in light of such determination it will not be necessary to hold a referendum election in order to issue a dredging permit, since such permit will not be necessary; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 2224 passed by the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, on November 6, 1980, be and the same is hereby repealed. Section 2. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance with Section 166. 041, Florida Statutes. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
