AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1980, AS
AMENDED, BY ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY RECENTLY
ANNEXED INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS
DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT;
PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY OF THE PRO-
VISIONS HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE
OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE,
WHEREAS, on August 21, 1980, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning classifications for certain
property annexed into the City of Clearwater in accordance with procedure
as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning atlas for
establishing zoning for such newly annexed real property were approved by
the City Commission after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the
said public hearing;
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and 'The Zoning
Atlas of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 198011, as amended, is amended
to indicate that fact as hereinafter set out:
Zoned as RM-8 - Single Family - Duplex - Apartment District
For a point of reference, commence at the NW corner of
NW 1 /4 of NW 1/4 of Section 8, Township 29 South,
Range 16 East; thence run S 89.40109" E along the North
line of said Section 8, a distance of 726.66 feet; thence
run S 04'4210011 W, a distance of 50. 14 feet to the South
right-of-way of State Road #590 for the P. O. B.'# thence
run S 89.4010911 E along said South right-of-way, a
distance of 117.21 feet; thence run S 02'5612711 W, a
distance of 161.42 feet; thence run S 89040109" E, a
distance of Z06. 00 feet to a point on the Westerly boundary
line of Orange Blossom Subdivision, as recorded in Plat
Book 51, page 70 of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida; thence run S 02.56127" W along said Westerly line
a distance of 546. 88 feet; thence run N 89'35127" W, a
distance of 344.98 feet; thence run N 04042100" E' a distance
of 709, 15 feet to the P. O. B.

Section 2. All ordinances or parts_of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court ofcompetent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of theordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Section 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section 5. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out
and show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
amendment as hereinabove set out.
Section 6. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
