AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE
INTERSECTION OF PROSPECT AVENUE AND WOODLAWN STREET,
CONSISTING OF LOTS 1 THROUGH 10, BLOCK C, BELMONT 2ND
ADDITION SUBDIVISION,AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY
HEREIN, FROM MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL "EIGHT"
DISTRICT (RM-8) TO PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC DISTRICT (P/SP);
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in
this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in
compliance with Florida law; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is
hereby rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows:
Property Zoning District
Lots 1 through 10, Block C, Belmont From: Multiple-Family Residential
2nd Addition Subdivision, according "Eight" District (RM-8)
to the map or plat thereof as recorded
in Plat Book 6, Page 88, of the public To: Public/Semi-Public (P/SP)
records of Pinellas County, Florida.

Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance
is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan.
Section 3. The Planning and Development Director is directed to revise
the zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption,
subject to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board
of County Commissioners.
