4828-89 0 D ORDINANGE_NO.__ 4828'-89 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF TAFT AVENUE BETWEEN GRANT STREET AND CARLTON STREET, CONSISTING OF LOTS 9 THROUGH 16, BLOCK 1, LINCOLN PLACE SUBDIVISION, WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FROM COMMERCIAL/TOURIST FACILITIES TO MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (RM-16); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, all applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act (the Act) have been complied with in connection with the amendment set forth in this ordinance, and WHEREAS, the amendment set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended by changing the land use category for the hereinafter described property as follows: Property Land Use Category Lots 9 through lb, Block 1, Lincoln From: Commercial/Tourist Facilities Place Subdivision, according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in To: Medium Density Residential Plat Book 3, Page 27, of the public records of Pinellas County, Florida. (LUP 89-3) Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is consistent with the City's'Comprehensive Plan. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.
