AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY ZONING CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF.COUNTY ROAD
193, IMMEDIATELY EAST OF PAUL B. STEPHENS EXCEPTIONAL
STUDENT CENTER, SOUTH OF CASTLE WOODS SUBDIVISION,
PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY
HEREIN, UPON ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RS-6); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater held a public
hearing for the determination and establishment of a zoning classification for
the property described herein, which was tentatively approved by the City
Commission after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public hearing;
and
WHEREAS, all applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning and Land Development Regulation Act relating to amendments to land
development regulations have been complied with in connection with the amendment
set forth in this ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the amendment set forth in this ordinance is found to be
reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is
hereby.zoned as indicated upon annexation into the City of Clearwater, and the
zoning atlas of the City is amended accordingly:
Property Zoning District
See Exhibit A attached hereto. RS-6 - Single Family Residential
(A 89-3)
Sect on 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance
is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan.
Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas
of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment.
