REDUCING THE RATE OF THE EXCISE TAX ON PROPERTY
INSURANCE COMPANIES CORPORATIONS OR OTHER

WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature has amended Section 175.101, Florida a'
Statutes to reduce t
he tax rate which may be assessed upon property insurance
premiums for the benefit of municipal firefighters' pension trust funds from 2% to
1.85% of the gross amount of property insurance premiums received, and L,
WHEREAS, it is otherwise necessary to amend Section 26.52(e), Code of }• r.s?=rr
