ORDINANCE NO. 468=9-88 t.s ?ry4 x_ ..S ?f?.. j?•i _?y a Y AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MAIN STREET (STATE ROAD 588), APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET WEST OF ABBEY LAKE ROAD, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida,, received a petition from the owner of the real property described herein requesting the City to annex the real property described herein Into the corporate limits of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Commission, at a regular meeting held on September 15, 1988, voted to accept the petition and authorized the preparation of an ordinance to annex the property; and WHEREAS, the City Commission held a public hearing upon the proposed annexation prior to or at the time of first reading of this ordinance; and WHEREAS, all applicable requirements of Florida law, including the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and.Land Development Regulation Act and the law relating to annexation, have been complied with In connection with this ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, the following described property is hereby annexed into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and the boundary lines of the City are redefined to include the following: See Exhibit A attached hereto.
