OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF Tilt CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF THE COURTNEY CAMPBELL CAUSEWAY ADJACENT TO OLD TAMPA BAY, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RS-4) TO OPEN SPACE/RECREATION (OS/R) FOR PARCEL 1, AND FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RS-4) TO PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC FOR PARCEL 2; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater held a public hearing on a proposed change to the zoning atlas of the City affecting the property described herein prior to or at the time of first reading of this ordinance; and WHEREAS, the proposed change to the zoning atlas was tentatively approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public hearing; and WHEREAS, all applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act relating to amendments to the development regulations of the City have been complied with in connection with the amendment set forth In this ordinance; and WHEREAS, the amendment set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned as Indicated, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended accordingly: Property Zoning District See Exhibit A attached hereto. Parcel 1 (Z-88-16) From: Single Family Residential (RS-4) To: Open Space/Recreation (OS/R) Parcel 2 From. Single Family Residential (RS-4) To: Public/Semi-Public (P/SP) Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance Is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan.
