ORDINANCE NO. 4652-88
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING' THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE
LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR A PORTION OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE. OF `
FAIRBURN AVENUE AT ITS NORTHERN TERMINUS,
APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET NORTIi OF ENGMAN STREET,
CONSISTING OF A TRACT OF REAL PROPERTY LYING
NORTH OF LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK A, FAIR BURN ADDITION,
SOUTH OF STEVENSONS CREEK, WITHIN THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FROM PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC TO
COMMERCIAL/TOURIST FACILITIES AND DESIGNATING A
PREVIOUSLY UNDESIGNATED PORTION THEREOF AS
COMMERCIAL/TOURMT FACILITIES; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, all applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning and Land Development Regulation Act (the Act) relating to amendments to
an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof have been complied with in
connection with the amendment set forth in this ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the amendment set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable,
proper and appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 Is amended by changing the land use
category for the hereinafter described property as follows:

To: CommerclaI/Tourist Facilities
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant
to the Act.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption,

subdivision according to the plat thereof, as recorded In Plat Book 12, Page
18, of the public records of Pinellas County, Florida,,run Northerly along
the West line of said Lot 1, a platted distance of 251 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING, said point being on the Southerly line of Stevensons Creek as
shown on said Fair Burn Addition Plat; thence continue Northerly along the
Northerly extension of said West line of Lot 1, 273 feet to a point on the
top of bank on the Southerly side of Stevensons Creek as shown on a survey
